I believe as a teacher, one of the most important life lessons I can teach your child is responsibility for their actions. In everyday life, there are due dates and societal expectations that those due dates be met (bills, taxes), and if they are not, there are consequences (late fees, bad credit). Therefore, please be aware that if your child does not to complete their homework on time, it will affect their grade.
As a parent, you are the most important person in your child’s life, and we need to work together for your child’s benefit. I need your support for the homework assignments, academic goals, and the classroom discipline plan I have set for the students. Please take advantage of family access to find out how your child is doing in Social Studies. Please feel free to contact me with any issues that are concerning you. With school and home working together, I know your child can have a successful year!
